There’s just nothing like a brand new planner. Shopping for a planner each year is one of my most favorite things and also one of the most stressful things. I am committing to something I am going to use daily for the entire year, and I feel so much pressure to have it be absolutely perfect. I don’t want to admit the amount of hours I have spend over the last few years researching planners. Please tell me I’m not the only one!!

I have tried out most of the popular planners out there, but my 2022 is a new-to-me brand, and I am absolutely in love with it! It checks all of my boxes, and then some! Let me introduce you to the Horacio Planner!

It’s a one year planner (January-December). They have a few gorgeous covers to choose from, both spiral and lay flat binding. I got the spiral and am super impressed with how sturdy it is! The paper quality is SO good - no bleed through! There is a full month layout at the start of each month, and then you can choose between a vertical or horizontal layout for the weeks. I chose horizontal - I love the big to do list area for each week and then the space to write in what I need to on each day. The Bible verses added in are one of my favorite things! Because I don’t need a motivational quote to encourage me. I need the WORD! It also has a clip in bookmarks which is a must for me. My old planner didn’t come with one and it was super frustrating.

The beginning of the planner has pages for you to do some self-reflection about the year prior and prayerful vision about the year ahead. It asks such good questions to help you focus on what matters most to you. Both for the year and for the season. They offer tutorials to help you walk through how to best use these pages, which is really awesome.

At the start of each season, there are pages for you to write who and what you’re praying for and what you want to make more time for. There are also questions to help you think about what things you need to let go of and grow from. Each month has a section for you to write praise reports as well. I love that this planner is more than just a to-do list!
